I. Main Storyline

The continent of Adonea was once a beautiful, peaceful place. Seventeen years ago, the country of Heim - known for its impressive military and technological advances - began to make its move. It invaded the country of Ilusia, far to the southeast, and slaughtered everyone in the castle in a single night. At least... almost everyone. Before she passed on, the queen entrusted the young prince and princess to a knight, revealing a secret passage so that the three of them would survive.

Over the next seventeen years, the entirety of Adonea was taken over. The leaders of the other countries, terrified of what happened in Ilusia, accepted the new authority and willingly went with the change in order to save their own lives. No one wanted that terrible example to happen all over again. Meanwhile, the secret of their birth was kept hidden from the prince and princess of Ilusia. Only a small group of people loyal to the old family knew the truth since they hoped that one day the two would rise to reclaim the country.

People carry on. The river of time is a harsh mistress, never stopping for anyone, and eventually the wheels of fate begin to turn all over again. For reasons unknown, magic has began to grow stronger in Ilusia. Researchers are trying to pinpoint what it is exactly, but most experiments and studies conducted turn up fruitless. It has caught the interest of Heim, which is never a good thing, and the queen's curiosity is something that tends to lead to unfortunate things... especially when she picks up on rumors that someone from the old royal family might still be alive.

The fragile peace that those in Ilusia have clung to for seventeen years is about to be destroyed all over again. When the time comes, which side will you stand with? What is beginning to stir? Only time will tell what has begun.
