Take everything in life that makes you happy or cheerful or hyperactive. Think of every excitable puppy, every giant lollipop with more than the legal amount of sugar, every festival or fair or celebration. Combine them. Now, multiply that by about one hundred, and it will still seem subdued when compared to Ri. If you could figure out how to plug her into a power source, she would probably give more energy than the sun itself. She's happy, energetic, and tireless. Not a lot gets her down, but when she's down, she's down and is capable of bringing down absolutely everyone around her because her personality is just that powerful. Generally, though, she is not one to get depressed and will generally outright ignore anything that threatens to do so.

However, despite her adorable, bouncy appearance... Ri is still an animal, and a violent one at that. If you threaten her or someone she loves (which is a wide circle), you need to be prepared for a fight, and that fight will come with throat-biting if she can get to your jugular. She has no qualms with killing and it doesn't bother her to hurt someone very, very badly if she feels like they deserve it. The best way to get on her good side? Fish. She loves, loves, loves fish, particularly tuna, and would prefer to eat it raw. She'll eat it cooked, but not cooked with anything. She dislikes the taste of herbs or seasonings, except salt. She's also a scary-fast learner, as long as she has a good teacher. Of course, she could learn terrible things quickly, as well.

Ri's real name isn't Ri, but that's the sound that she makes the most often, so it's what people tend to call her. In truth, she has no real idea what her name is because she was abandoned when she was nothing more than a kit. She's raised herself for the most part, living out in the forest and hunting for herself. She doesn't have any tools or weapons, but she does have a few possessions that she's managed to acquire from forgetful travelers.

It used to make her sad to be all alone, but anymore, she doesn't really think about it... mostly because she's so used to being alone now and it's nothing to worry about. Her life hasn't been terribly involved, as she just lives day to day surviving and staying away from people. However, recently, she's wanted to move closer to people and actually begin learning about them. It's only natural to be curious. With her fox ears and fox tail, however, it's impossible to mistake her for anything but a beastman, and it doesn't help that she has a penchant for climbing up the sides of buildings or jumping on stranger's backs.

The biggest barrier in all of this? She doesn't speak Common, or any language that seems to exist from anywhere. Does she speak a language? Yes, or at least she seems to, but it only appears to have any sort of meaning to her. That won't stop her from babbling away, of course. She picks up Common words quickly, but just the sound. She doesn't really seem to get what they mean.
