Cassandra has certainly learned to act as the demure and dutiful daughter whenever in the presence of her parents or those that expect her a certain way. Is she truly what she allows others to believe? Not quite. In her sister's presence, she is able to act as her more cheerful and mischievous self as she pleases. At times, she even uses it when regarding strangers to add more of a charm to her personality. In a way, Cassandra views it as a sort of song and dance that she knows the steps to very well. Perhaps it gives her an overconfidence in herself to have the ability to fool the people around her into seeing what they wish of her. Hiding behind a mask is simply something Cassandra has grown used to over the years and prefers to keep it that way.
At times, even the best of masks can crack. The young woman does have a terrible temper when aroused and can fly into a passion that can be somewhat alarming. Even more so, Cassandra can be vengeful should anyone precious to her become hurt. At other times, she can be rather somber and not discuss what is on her mind at all. She enjoys helping others in any way she can, but she hardly ever discusses whatever is troubling her. It is simply easier for her to keep her own council in her opinion. Otherwise, she is quite a charming and intelligent young woman that tries to hide behind a courtly mask before deciding to give her trust out to those worthy.

Cassandra was born as the youngest daughter to the Faerie King and Queen, along with her elder twin sister. Her childhood could be called a relatively happy one as she was raised within the beautiful forests of Avalon. When she was a younger girl, Cassandra very much enjoyed exploring the endless depths of the forest that was her home, much to the chagrin of her caretakers. Of course, her love for nature was to be expected, but a princess usually did not find rolling around in the grass and dirt to be a good past time to indulge in. No, her behavior was quick to be reprimanded as she was taught to be a much more maidenly and demure girl. She was given a good education on the her homeland and the other races and countries in which bordered Avalon.
Of course, her favorite lessons were in dancing and singing. It was the only time where Cassandra's more lively nature was not rebuked. Being a princess was not the most exciting station in life, but she strove to be a source of pride for her parents and those that expected her to do her duty. Cassandra sometimes slipped in such lessons when she entered into a more rebellious stage. Small pranks upon the guards or flirting just a little with the more handsome gentleman welcomed into the Faerie court. Such things dissolved after a couple of years, since she had no wish for herself to be seen as a princess with loose morals. Such things were not to last, though it seemed.
Her parents abruptly sent herself and her twin sister to be relocated to Meridell in Illusia. Cassandra had little idea as to why her household was packed and sent abroad to an entirely new land, and the lack of an explanation only worried her. Was someone threatening them? The sudden change in her life has been accepted with as much poise and grace as one could expect from her. Meridell is certainly a lovely settlement that reminds her of her familiar home, but she continues to worry about what is happening. For now, all she has for company is her sister and bodyguard.
