personality
Skyler is something of a child despite his age. One of the many child-like attributes he possesses is his extreme curiosity about the world around him. As such, he's very eager to learn about anything and everything he can. It is thanks to this that as an extension of his desire to learn about everything and anything that he's willing to talk to anyone, no matter their social position, and can carry on long conversations with even hobos, if given the chance. Loyal until the very end, if he warms up to another to call a friend then there's no doubt on his part, he'll extend his hand out to help whenever he can. Skyler is very adaptable willing to adjust to his environment for any case, but mostly for practical reasons.
That doesn't mean he's exempt from having flaws. He's definitely got his fair share of them. A prominent trait is that he's very nosy, an extreme of his curiosity that leads him to want to know absolutely everything whether it's his business or not. He is somewhat passive, but only for the sole fact that he's trying to understand the world around him. Most insults typically go in one ear and out the other. It's not impossible to anger him, but his buttons are very far and few. A good way to get him upset is picking on his friends or the one he cares about. Though if one gets enough to get underneath his skin then, woe be his adversary, he does hold grudges. It won't be sudden, and it won't be immediate, but he is one to carry grudges.

Skyler was nothing short of a miracle baby. His mother had complications in the past trying to conceive children, even losing her first child through a miscarriage. It was because of his miraculous birth that he was treated nothing short with undivided attention from both of his parents. He didn't have an grand childhood filled with adventure or excitement but it was most certainly a happy one. The young elf lad spent his kid years growing up in Meridell secluded in the Whispering Woods. It was a simple life, but one where he had plenty of friends and activities to keep him busy throughout the years. His nosy nature got him into mischief and trouble here and there but what kid wouldn't like to get into things when they're able to walk and talk?
