RENDER TRUTH
CHARLIE CRUX EIGHTEEN SUMMER N/A | BI FIVE FEET EIGHT BEASTMAN (GOAT) ARIES |
personality
At first glance, people often mistake Charlie for a boy due to her being masculine in more ways than one – not that she minds the confusion, really! Adventure is laced within her blood and she is active and outgoing. She likes to take the lead of things, is assertive and forceful to the point that she can get aggressive and intimidating for those too weak-willed. Her impulsive nature makes her very confronting and she likes to go into things headfirst without much thought. Energetically wilful and determined, she possesses headstrong personality and is not subject to external influences, with a 'haters gotta hate' attitude. The beastgirl is wild and resistant to any form of suppression and carries a rebellious streak with her.
Although she is an independent individual, she is immature and whether that is a good thing or not is up for debate. Her childishness is allows her to bounce back from hardships and you would never find Charlie depressed for too long. Life's too short for that kinda stuff! No matter how hard you knock her down, Charlie will always rise back up one way or another.
The beastgirl is honest and expressive of her emotions, acting on impulses and often speaking whatever is on the forefront of her mind. Because she expects others to also be honest with her, Charlie is often too trusting for her own good.

history
Charlie grew up in a household that valued males over women, thus her parents came up with a brilliant idea to raise their only daughter as a son. A reverse trap is the way to go? Go figure. Other than that, she had a normal childhood (for a boy). While, she did wonder what a female life could have been like, Charlie didn't particularly mind her upbringing.
Living the city of Heim, the rebellious girl frequently got into all sort of troubles, sometimes to the point of narrowly avoiding arrest, much to the chagrin of her parents. At the age of 13, when she began mingling with the wrong crowd, it was upon her (not exactly legal) initiation to a street gang when her parents decided that enough was enough. It was decided that Charlie would sent to another country to try and start over with a better life. So Charlie and her beastman father packed up their briefcases with the intention of moving to Asgard, leaving her human mother behind to stay with her grandparents. Unfortunately, along the way, the husband and daughter got caught up in a local conflict between merfolk and beastmen. Still new to the conventions of Ilusian society, everything was a mass of confusion for the Heim residents. With her worst injury being the loss of eyesight in one eye, Charlie managed to get away, but the same couldn't be said for her father.
Lost and alone in this strange country and without the guidance of an adult, Charlie couldn't afford to mourn over his death for long. She was too busy struggling to build a living for herself. Eventually, she found a part-time job at a tavern, forming friendships with the locals. Preferring to forgo the use of an eye patch, her loss of one eye doesn't hinder her much, except when it comes to winking – which she does frequently, since she flirts to both genders.
Aware of the hostility toward her homeland, Charlie has kept her past a carefully concealed secret. Her long time goal is that one day, she'll save up enough money to make a discreet trip back to Heim.
