Darla is a very independent person. She doesn't like to rely on other people that much and survives on her own strengths. Even her motto is,"If you something done right, you have to do it yourself!" To other people she can be rather awkward when first meeting them, but with other people there she is totally fine! She is actually a really nice woman! She never hangs around the rude and gossip-y type, or any other people who go against her moral code.
After a good night's sleep though she can be a total workaholic. In truth Darla would have preferred a job that required more to do and needed more effort, because she really likes the pressure and satisfaction that working gives her. But she is too comfortable with her town guard position to do something completely different now. She will do most favors if asked too, but if it is a money issue then she'll refuse. Darla is actually really reserved about money and doesn't like to give it out or lend it to anybody, even her closest friends.
She's stubborn to a fault as well. This is also pertaining to her,"If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself!" motto. Once she thinks something nearly nothing can change her position on it. Even her friends, or her family if they're there, have trouble doing so. And she is picky as well, like with the food she eats and the types of clothes she wears.

Darla comes from a very tiny village named Riverbloom somewhere in the east of Illusia Fields. Her family were very amazing blacksmiths, who made really pretty things. She grew up being required to be strong along with her brothers and sisters. They were really poor, due to her parents being really nice and giving so much to other people. When she was young Darla dreamed of being rich one day, to live in a castle and to have servants!
In her childhood that dream was very far away. The youngest child wasn't spoiled in her family, in fact it was the opposite. Darla didn't have many fancy clothes, most were hand-me-downs from her MALE siblings! And her intellect didn't give her a lot of attention either. She was rather strong though, since she had to lift more things than her brothers did. It was because since she was female she had to work harder to gain muscle, apparently. Frankly she didn't believe that.
At the age of 18 she went to Asgard. The job that she found first was being a town guard, so she took it. Her brawn and general memorization of the law helps her with her job. And ever since she arrived her romantic life has gone no where. But her dream in general is someone who is nice and really happy all the time, but there has never been any boy like that for her.
