MORNING LIGHT
LUCRETIA SHEA FOURTY-ONE SPRING INN KEEPER’S WIFE | HETEROSEXUAL FIVE FT SEVEN IN HUMAN VIRGO |
personality
Lucretia is a woman with a heart the size of the world. It isn’t very hard to guess so, especially when the moment you meet her a glowing smile that could melt ice appears on her face and she asks if you need anything, anything at all. Taking care of people is something that comes as naturally as breathing to her and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She is a gentle and selfless soul and believes that everyone deserves courtesy, honesty, and respect. Placing all others before herself, she cannot refuse a cry for help from those who deserve it and does her best to help anybody in any way she can.
Lucretia is a very proactive person. She has a firm belief that if there is something to be done about anything, however small the chance, she'll do it. It's a very 'get it done' and 'go get 'em' attitude, and she leaves nothing untried. Despite her naive looks, Lucretia is a wise woman who can see things for what they are and reads people very easily. Mistaking her for a fool would be very unwise. She is very protective over those she holds close to her heart and can sometimes seem a little overbearing with how much she worries over them. In spite of her gentle and loving nature, Lucretia bears a kind of hate for Heim and all things related to it due to the events that transpired seventeen years ago.

history
Brought up in the humble beginnings of the lower class of Ilusia, life for Lucretia passed without much of anything special to be said about it. Her family lived as well as they could with what they had and she was perfectly happy and content with that. Lucretia lived a fairly normal childhood: a little bit of schooling here, a lot of odd job work there, some caring for all those around her to top it all off with. You know, the normal for her. Things didn't really start to change until the day she met the future queen of Ilusia.
Summoned to the castle as the new handmaiden for the princess, Lucretia focused all her gentle nurturing onto the royal girl. Although not quite sure what to make of the princess at first, after some time had passed the two became such close friends that Lucretia felt herself as more of a companion than a handmaiden. That of course didn't stop her from fussing over the royal girl, but the princess never seemed to mind. Years passed like this and the time came so suddenly for Lucretia to marry. It was a knight of the castle she'd been crushing on for ages (and always got teased for it by a certain royal brat) that asked for her hand. One marriage and several months later, just as the first snows of winter were falling, came her first--and only--child.
Not long after the new queen followed suit: marriage and the birth of a new little prince. And a few happy years later a beautiful baby princess joined them. Things were wonderful. Until Heim invaded. It happened in the dead of night with no warning. Even for Lucretia, most of the night was a blur. She remembers the halls filled with Heim soldiers and running; holding tight to her son and escaping among ancient passages hidden in the walls the queen had shown to her, for just such an occasion. She had always thought the queen and her children wouldn't be far behind.
How wrong she was. The following morning she learned how the soldiers of Heim had murdered the king and her queen, her friend, and that the prince and princess were missing. It was in disbelief her husband found her, and he only acknowledged her fears. By some miracle however, they were found by a weary and injured knight who was totting along the prince and princess. After handing over the royal siblings, despite Lucretia's best efforts, the knight succumbed to his wounds.
From there Lucretia and her husband adopted the siblings and gave them a last name to hide their identities with and built an inn where they could raise them, along with their own son. And so they did, for seventeen years. Life had been relatively peaceful (or as peaceful as it gets with three children), despite being under Heim rule. She spends most of her days now looking after the inn and it's residents, as well as her own family.
