Caleb was actually glad to be on dry land for this long. It meant that he was able to get away from his brothers and father and not suffer from them. His father's randomness and the cruelty of his older brothers that is. Granted, he did like to be out at sea. He grew up on the sea so he was used to it.
Sitting on a boulder that was located in the water, a sigh left him. Although, he would admit that he was kind of unhappy. Despite the time he was spending here, he hadn't found his mother. Did she die while he and the rest of the family were out at sea? Did he always just miss her? Or did she just not want anything to do with him? So many questions, and one could tell he was thinking of them all as he sat there.

This guy looked a lot like Al and that kind of bugged her, because she was certain that he hadn’t mentioned a twin brother or a brother at all and Al definitely would have said something if he was coming back to the beach. So who was this guy? Why was he there? He certainly seemed like he deep in thought. One shouldn’t go about deep thinking with a mermaid around, that was for sure. And especially when that mermaid was Kessie. ”Gonna sit there all day with that look on your face, sailor?” Kessie had propped her elbows up on a rock, hands cradling her head as she merely looked at him. Her rose red eyes danced with playfulness as she smiled in the slightest. She was in a position where he couldn’t see her tail just yet, patiently waiting for the right moment. ★ i'm so so sorry!

Caleb was snapped out of his thoughts by a voice. Looking down at the water, he could see Kessie. Well, he certainly didn't notice anyone else here when he arrived. Perhaps he had been sitting here for a long while?
"Wasn't intending to." Caleb said with a smile as well as a laugh. "I guessed I zoned out really good, I didn't see anyone when I got here."
ooc: It's okay. Sorry that this is a late reply.)
