Independent by nature with a glacier-like glare to freeze the world over, it is easy to be intimidated by Alyse, as well as intrigued in the same moment. She doesn’t hesitate to speak her mind, as honesty with the sharpest tongues will drive away those who are too scared to be around her or will bring her allies closer to her. Being by herself doesn’t bother her, as the dependency on others has never been necessary to the elf. The closest she comes to “dependency” are with the men she spends the night with, knowing her way around the opposite sex.
With people she can come across as disinterested or annoyed with them in general. Don’t get Alyse wrong, though. Finding friends for her isn’t easy with her naturally harsh demeanor, but she will treasure those who are comfortable with being close enough to her. She feels the need to be over-generous with others, but it can come across as if she’s boasting her money. Amber feels most at peace when she is playing her flute and when she’s in the city. Even though she’s an elf, she has an immense fear of traveling into the woods or mountains, though she can’t explain why.

Alyse was raised into a family with great wealth, the money and none of the expenses making its way down to her as an only child. Her father invented and her mother worked as a secretary. They were an arranged marriage, never having a true emotional attachment to the other. They were distant, products made just for the sake of typing pacts to other companies or strong families. As expected, Alyse was to follow the role of that.
She was a child with little to show for besides her skills in language and with music, however, she was promised that she would never need to have a job. In thei mansion, she hardly ever saw her parents and other kids would be invited, as if this would fill the void of loneliness. Alyse paid little attention to them unless she felt like tormenting them with words. Her life continued on with parties, men she couldn't recall the names to, and girls who claimed to be her friend as they searched for money in the dressers while they thought she wasn't looking.
The child of the Dummel's... It seemed to be a life that was so long ago, memories that her mind tried to hold on to. But as the days counted by with more and more sleep, the harder it was to keep a grasp on the life before it all happened. Someone chasing, someone calling, someone...
