FRAIL FLOWER
FLYTA DWYN SIXTEEN WINTER THE BARMAID | HETEROSEXUAL FIVE FOOT ONE INCH FAERIE CANCER |
personality
Skittish, lacking in confidence, and fragile are all words that could be used to describe Flyta. She doesn't take well to new people or even people she knows. She's easily startled and high-pressured situations make her almost unable to talk. Finding her in a time that she's not nervous is extremely hard, because that only seems to happen when she's alone in her own little world.
Other than that, Flyta can be a good friend, determined to keep conflict from happening and staying loyal and polite. She never wants to make anyone mad, but when someone makes a fool of her, she has a hard time dropping the matter. Flyta is embarrassed easily and so she tries to hide anything that will cause others to make fun of her. How in the world she is working in such a social job like being a barmaid is beyond most people.

history
Farrah Dwyn did not expect to find herself with a child, a drunken one-night stand that she couldn't even remember the next day being the cause of it. When the day did come when the little was born, however, she decided to keep her and raise her to the best of her abilities. Flyta was always very different with her naturally dark hair and her nervous demeanor, despite her mother's bright, blue hair and outgoing personality. They lived in a poor area in Asgard after Farrah decided to leave the settlement of Meridell with her new daughter.
Flyta was treated the best she could for the little money her mother made and she loved the life that she had. Going out and getting herself a job to help pay for expenses crossed her mind when she became old enough, but her mother would have nothing of it. Her mother wanted her to get a proper education and not have to worry about the concerns of being an adult before she needed to.
Tragedy struck, though, when Flyta's mother fell into illness. It was unfortunate, but it was time for Farrah Dwyn's life to end. Before she could pass on, she wrote a letter to a fellow in Asgard. She told Flyta to give it to him and that he was the grandson of two elves that she had known and were friends with. Flyta wasn't reassured, but she did manage to find the man who happened to be the tavern owner. In need of a barmaid and with the aid of her letter, Flyta got the job, even though she was probably the most unqualified person for the job.
Her mother died shortly after, leaving Flyta alone in the world. Between mourning and worrying about how she was going to keep house, she was forced to move to a small apartment that was more affordable. The other problem? Her boss... is really attractive. And that's extremely hard for her not to get distracted by. But he's also ten years older than her! ... But maybe with all the stress she's been dealing with, it wouldn't be so bad to have someone to look forward to?
