It's been about a night or two since Ringo met Cassandra and Rhiannon at the Festival of Lifae. Ringo has since then wandered around as always. However, as he walked the road towards Valos, he heard the loud sound of howling. The sound of an animal or something howling was nothing new to him but it has been becoming a concern for some people. Whenever Ringo asked people on the topic though, they said it came from around the mountains. Even more concerning is Ringo hearing about the fact that they're more and more monsters that seem to be appearing around the mountain... ...and thus here Ringo is, exploring the outskirts of Valos during the late afternoon. He wasn't a knight or anything but he can't exactly leave this unattended. Besides the strange sound and the increase in monsters would be a concern for anyone's home. Ringo looked around...his hand on his sword handle just in case. He looked left and right and started to walk more cautiously. It's going to be night soon and if the more monsters thing is true...then Ringo will not exactly have the most pleasant of company for tonight. Ringo gripped his sword harder when he heard movement. He looked behind him, then left and right...for now he was alone but experience has taught him that being alone in locations like this do not last too long...and then there is the ambiguity of how pleasant the company is going to be. However, Ringo himself does not need to worry. It was a simple a newcomer that wandered here like himself... |

A few priorities he had in returning around Volos, but first and foremost, there were the local dangers that had arisen. Monsters, they said, and he'd seen a few such; only natural, perhaps, that he should. Ultimately, threats to beastmen... and considering his end goals, the King of Thieves certainly couldn't be having that. Finding that Adell to pass on a minor message, and having that Innkeeper answer to him regarding the Devanti siblings, could wait.
Not to say he exactly intended to go alone, mind. More heads could be said to be better, after all, though more than that, it was just a matter of entertainment. Seeing how others would react to the situations at hand, seeing what they might actually manage to find, and in the end likely going off on his own and examining things for himself. Such was just his way.
"Hm... a little nervous, are we? I wouldn't worry too much, I don't believe any of those 'monsters' are around just yet, or if they are, I can't smell them," he spoke out soon enough. Unarmed, at least from the look of things, was the brown-cloaked beastman, though said cloak was missing nearly half an arm due to events earlier. "Though I will admit this may not be the best place to be around this time, not with recent happenings around here. Judging by the sword, though, might I guess you're out here looking into precisely those?" he inquired, tilting his head slightly to the side in curiosity as he awaited some sort of answer, as well as for whoever else was around to find them or come out.
