From Heim? Holly had never been, but she had heard plenty of nasty things about the place that was so famous for how huge and frightening in power they were. There were many people from Heim in Asgard, as well as the other countries around Ilusia and each one of them intrigued her. "Taught to be formal? Huh, wonder how that would be," She mused aloud. Staying in Ilusia all her life didn't exactly open her up to much else. Formal in this household? That was a funny statement. Holly chose to observe the rest of the conversation, munching away on her apple. There wasn't much for her to say that wouldn't be an echoing on what Fayt or Wynter had already said. She thought about mentioning that she had added all the shells to the coast-side rooms, but refrained from annoying the newcomer. Overwhelming him with all of them at the same time probably wasn't the best idea in the first place, but Holly wasn't going to be the one to budge from learning something about another place. "I made extra, but you don't get any unless I get a favor in return. Theris gets a freebie because he's new," Holly stuck her tongue out at Wynter before smiling innocently once again. [/div]

Theris turned aside from what remained of his dinner to sign his name, very neatly, where he was supposed to. He took the key from Wynter, his mouth twitching slightly. " Thank you." Tucking the key into his coat pocket, he finished off what little remained of the stew, standing up. " Is there somewhere I should take this?" Theris asked, indicating the empty dish. ★ what have you got all these manners for, Theris

"Hold up," Fayt said, looking at Holly. "You didn't make tea. I made tea. The tea is mine. You can't ransom my tea to Wynter for favors." Seriously. Sisters. Just because they were related to you by blood, they thought everything that belonged to you was theirs! ...however, he wasn't exactly going to enforce this and instead would just leave Wynter to deal with Holly. "No, we'll take care of the dishes. Part of the job description, actually," he said with a nod to Theris, getting to his feet. By that, he meant that Wynter or Holly could deal with it. Motioning for the other male to follow him, he said, "I'll show you to your room, just come with me." This Theris guy was oddly nice, considering that he came from Heim. Of course, he wouldn't judge him based strictly on that. He would judge him based on other things like a normal person. Starting off in that direction, he turned his head slightly to address Theris while still looking where he was going. "They should be up pretty early in the morning, but I don't know what you're used to. Do you want a wake-up call?"★ theris n' holly n' wynter ★ manners are for rich people and we are the peasantry

Well, that would be something for him to do himself, soon enough, if he got the job. It all seemed rather straightforward. Theris bowed to Holly and Wynter, seeing as he was leaving them behind. " Good night." Following Fayt, it occurred to him that maybe his manners were a little out of place here. He certainly didn't want to be rude, but none of the family seemed quite so concerned. " I can wake up at any time," he answered honestly. " A wake-up call would be fine." He'd probably get some sleep before then - he was that exhausted. ★ speak for yourself, peasant

It was only natural that Fayt would be curious as to why the Heimite, who seemed to be rather well-born from the way that he carried himself, had ended up here in Ilusia without so much as a knapsack to carry around with him. As a general rule, he hated anyone from Heim on principle, but there was something about this guy that made Fayt feel as though hating him would be the equivalent of kicking a puppy while it was already down and whimpering. He looked like he'd been through a rough patch, and Fayt knew those well enough. Without anyone to help you through them, there was no telling what sort of spot you would end up in. If the guy turned out to be more trouble than he was worth, it would be easy enough to just send him on his way. For now... he looked like he'd been through enough to deserve the benefit of the doubt. "All right. Well, breakfast is usually ready around six and it's available until about nine. My parents eat at about seven or so; we'll get you up when they're around so that you can talk to them yourself." Was there anything else he needed to know? He looked so exhausted that Fayt was fairly positive anything else could wait until the next day, since he'd probably just sleep until then, anyway. "Looks like big brother has won." Getting up from his place at the table, he picked up the dishes. Moving over to the kitchen he set them in the sink, running warm water and letting it fill. Soap was added before a towel was reached for, drying his hands. While waiting for the water to begin doing the dishes, Wynter set about making himself a cup of tea with what Fayt had made. Pouring the hot water into a ceramic cup, he reached for a box of tea leaves and set it on the counter. With time to sleep soon coming, the chamomile leaves were spooned out into the water. A dash of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon was added, and bringing it up he took a deep breath as he inhaled the scent of the tea. Taking a sip, Wynter reached over to turn the running water off. Letting the flavors settle on his tongue, he set the mug aside and stuck his hands in the soapy water. With a rag he began to wash off the dirty dishes, placing them aside for Holly to dry and put away. "So, what was this favor, anyway?" Pulling his hands out and letting them drip dry, he turned to his side. "If you tell me, I might just do it anyway."★ fayt, holly, theris ★ your attempts have been thwarted, holly

Holly gaped after him, throwing her hands into the air once he was gone. Honestly! Brothers! Thought they knew everything when he didn't even remember what he had said only minutes before! Maybe it was just because they had a newcomer and he didn't seem too well at the time, so he was paying closer attention to him. But if he was going to argue with her, he was going to have to get his facts right. Giving Wynter a slap to the arm, she made a face. "Dork, I did make the tea. Fayt just boiled water." She started snatching dishes and putting them back up after drying them. Holly tapped her chin in thought. "As for favor..." She easily grabbed the cup of tea from him and took a sip. "Making me a cup of tea will suffice. Oh, and finishing the dishes. You're awesome, Wynter!" Before he had any other say in the matter, Holly was out of the room with his tea in hand. ★ Liar brother. Hat boy. Stop fighting.

Theris thought, briefly, of asking Fayt if he had any warnings - people to avoid, things not to do - but it seemed like a question that might potentially have a long answer, and he didn't want to doze off standing in the hallway. " No... thank you. Really, thank you." His bow to Fayt was nothing but genuine. " Good night," he added, before carefully unlocking the room door and vanishing inside. ★ hey Theris it's naptime

Had she just walked away with his tea? She had, hadn't she? He was surprised by his own hands' lack of resistance as she had taken it, watching the girl he liked merrily took a sip and scampered away presumably back to her own room. Finishing up the last of the dishes, of swipe of the cloth used as a rag was given each and put away back into his mother's cupboards. Repouring himself some more water, in Holly's own personal mug this time since she had taken his, he remade the tea he had done. The lantern in the kitchen was blown out before he too followed after her, his own newly made tea in hand. Catching up to her wouldn't be too hard and their rooms were next to one another's, with Fayt's across the hall. He would show her the cup and grin as he opened the door, slipping inside with a good night. One day he would get her back for sure. ★ fayt, holly, theris ★ tea thief, I will get you one day!

Nodding to Theris, Fayt said, "I hope you sleep well." He would be back to wake him up in the morning, but for now, he hoped that the other male would feel better once he had gotten some sleep. He had a lot of things that he wanted to ask of them, and none of them sounded... well, like appropriate questions you would ask someone you just met. Where had he come from? Why was he in Ilusia? More importantly, what had happened to him that had left him in such a state? He seemed perfectly nice, which was a rare trait for a Heimite, so maybe he would be able to get that job and then he could get to know him well enough that he'd be able to ask those questions. For now, he was going to go to bed. If he went back to finish his tea, he'd just end up getting stuck with clean-up duty, and bother that nonsense. ★ theris n' holly n' wynter ★ rock-a-bye theris
